I am a fully qualified medical doctor, and my specialism is psychiatry. I am trained as a Consultant, with CST certification in general adult psychiatry, forensic psychiatry and substance misuse. I treat NHS patients at a hospital. I undertake medico-legal work in the same spheres, with a practice in criminal cases, as well as assessing psychiatric damage caused by alleged malfeasance of officers of the state and other parties. I am instructed by both state institutions and the legal representatives of those seeking defence, reform and remedy, I have reported in a number of cases of deaths in custody, instructed both by the Coroner and by representatives of close families of the deceased. I have worked on many important and high-profile cases, a few examples are below.
R vs Nadine Milroy-Sloan, The Old Bailey, 2003.
R vs Sarah Bullock, Truro Crown Court, 2007. The murder of Steven Hoskin, the case led to establishing modern Safeguarding apparatus.
R vs Anne and John Darwin, Leeds Crown Court, 2008. The notorious faked death in a canoe case.
Bijan Ebrahimi, In 2013 Bijan Ebrahimi, a vulnerable adult, who was registered as disabled, was killed by a neighbour. Police officers from Avon and Somerset constabulary failed to respond properly to his calls for help in the lead up to his death.

Ofonime Inuk 2017, a seminal case of modern slavery in which a Nigerian man was held captive and enslaved in Britain from boyhood, for a total of 24 years.
Olaseni Lewis, Coroner’s Inquest touching the death of, 2017. The case led to “Seni’s Law”, Mental Health Units (Use of Force) Act 2018.
